With years of experience in the legal field, Michael L. Moore has dedicated his career to advocating for justice and educating the public. His passion for law and travel inspired him to write this essential guide for travelers.

He credits the trauma of having his brother murdered when he was only 10 years old, as the catalyst that drew him into the practice of law. He opened his law firm in 1999 after returning to his hometown of Orlando, FL.

It was the unexpected murder of a close friend in Jamaica that inspired him to create a series of guidebooks for traveling in other countries.

Serving as a legal liaison for the victim's family, he saw firsthand how difficult it could be to navigate the nuances of another country’s different criminal procedures and laws.
